How to Vote

Every vote counts. Here's everything you need to know to make your voice heard in East Brunswick — from registering to casting your ballot on Election Day. Remember to vote Column B for Kevin T. McEvoy, Jim Wendell, and Dana Consoli-Winston.

Vote In Person

Cast your ballot at your assigned polling place on Election Day. Bring a valid photo ID if it is your first time voting at that location. Polls are open 6 AM – 8 PM.

Vote by Mail

New Jersey voters can request a Vote by Mail ballot for any election. Apply online, by mail, or in person at the Middlesex County Clerk's office. Return your ballot by mail or drop it at an official drop box - at the municipal complex by the police or at the County Board of Elections on Kennedy Blvd.

Early Voting

New Jersey offers in-person early voting at designated locations in Middlesex County. Early voting typically runs the 10 days before Election Day. Check the County's website for exact Early Voting and dropbox locations.

Register to Vote

You must be registered to vote in New Jersey at least 21 days before Election Day. Check your registration status or register online today.

    Check your registration status at the NJ Voter Information Portal.

    If not registered, complete the online registration form — it takes just a few minutes.

    Make sure your address is current if you have moved since the last election.

    Deadline: Register at least 21 days before Election Day.

What to Bring

  • First-time voters: bring a valid photo ID or a document showing your name and address (utility bill, bank statement, etc.).

  • Returning voters: your name will be in the poll book — no ID required by law, but it can speed up the process.

  • Vote by Mail voters: sign the return envelope — your signature is your verification.
